Do your Bit with BARBI for BRITAIN, the biggest ever backyard BBQ Bash from Bank Holiday Monday May 25th & ‘Salute & Support’ the NHS, Carers, Frontline & Supermarket Staff, plus those who are struggling to cope with the financial & social pandemic effects!
With the worldwide impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, 2020 has been the year when everything changed. In the UK social-distancing and ‘stay-at-home’ lockdowns have become the rule and the NHS, Carers and Frontline staff have been working wonders in helping those who have unfortunately contracted the virus, as well as keeping the rest of us safe!
Keeping us all ‘fed & watered!
Whilst of course the NHS has been fantastic, the ‘unsung heroes’ of this national emergency have been the Supermarket Staff & Delivery Drivers, who have been tirelessly working, under the most challenging of circumstances to ensure that we all remain ‘fed & watered’.
Helping the vulnerable
The pandemic has been extremely difficult for many FareShare believe that no good food should go to waste and redistribute surplus food to charities that turn it into meals. Every week they redistribute enough food to create a million meals for people in need.
