It was supposed to be OK, but the first day of our Gastro Alfresco + National BBQ Week RoadShow at the Royal Bath & West Show was a bit of a washout as heavy rain for most of the day, somewhat dampened the spirits of even the hardiest of Show visitors. But despite the rain and wind we still managed to not only distribute lots of samples, but also to put a smile on the face’s of a wet crowd.
They’re a hardy lot in the west Country, and we’re reliably assured that the weather on the second day, Friday, will be OK. Here;s hoping!
